Premiere of Tables of Istanbul

The first screening of Asst.Prof. Zeynep KıIıç’s documentary “Tables of Istanbul” took place at YESAM (Culinary Arts Center) on April 16^th, 2016.  The documentary, partially funded by Turkish Cultural Foundation, features;  İstanbul’s culinary culture Turkish Cuisine, and the dynamics of food through the eyes of a sociologist including conversations with chefs, owners, activists, researchers and writers while blending personal and academic questions. Asst. Prof. Zeynep Kılıç is currently teaching at Sociology Department of Alaska University in Anchorage.
