TCF- YESAM’s Project Executive, Banu Özden was invited to Mexico City to take part in the 1st International Meeting on Traditional Cuisine. The event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, took place between 23-25 September, where the participants from various states of Mexico and countries around the world presented their cuisines. Ms. Özden, presented “Exploring Turkey’s Culinary Heritage” and prepared the typical Turkish dish of “Hünkar Beğendi” (Roasted eggplant puree topped with beef stew). The event ended with the closing remarks of Claudia Ruiz Massieu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. Among the participants were Ambassador Mr. Mustafa Oğuz Demiralp, the Turkish Ambassador to Mexico and other Ambassadors, whose countries were invited to attend the event.
